Meet the heart and soul of Luxemburg Pet Resort, Melissa. With a wealth of experience in animal care, Melissa’s journey began at 18 in animal hospitals, earning her stripes as a licensed veterinary technician. Continuously honing her skills with education from The Dog Gurus, Melissa’s expertise spans emergency medicine, dog training, and even agility. She is also a member of the Association for Professional Dog Training International. Her passion for animals extends beyond dogs; she’s even worked with horses, from grooming to showing. A dog enthusiast herself, Melissa has owned a diverse array of breeds and excels at grooming for shows.

We’re a state‑inspected, licensed, family‑operated facility offering personalized care in a home‑style setting. With a licensed veterinary technician on site, air‑conditioned and heated runs, and enrichment activities like daily outdoor play and optional swim/play extras, your pet’s comfort is our priority.
Are indoor and outdoor boarding runs available at the same facility?
Yes. We have 25 covered indoor/outdoor runs for dogs, plus separate cat accommodations. Dogs go outside three times daily in segregated play yards by size.
What add‑ons or activity extras can enhance my pet’s boarding stay?
Choose from extras including swimming, puzzle/lick mats, frozen bones, teether toys, individual play sessions, and bundled packages offering discount pricing on multiple add-ons.
Can Luxemburg Pet Resort accommodate senior or medically‑fragile pets?
Yes. Our team includes a licensed veterinary technician experienced with special‑needs, senior, and medically‑fragile pets. We administer medication carefully and tailor attention as needed. Our facility has separate quiet space for cats and extra care protocols.
Does the resort offer grooming or daycare without boarding?
Yes—pets do not need to board with us to receive grooming services. We also offer daycare separately. Grooming drop‑off is at 9 am, with pickup at 11 am or 4 pm–6 pm, by appointment only.
Do you offer special pricing or packages for long‑term stays?
We provide both short‑ and long‑term lodging. While flat rates apply nightly, add‑on bundles and boarding‑plus (including training) provide discounted packages. Please contact us to discuss custom pricing.
